No, you don’t ride the llamas when you travel with Smoky Mountain Llama Treks. Instead, you hike along with a llama in tow, and it will carry your food, supplies and gear for you. The llamas are gentle enough that Smoky Mountain Llama Treks can also arrange hiking trips on paved or gravel trails for wheelchair users.

 

The difficulty level of all trails used by Smoky Mountain Llama Treks ranges from easy to moderate. Pet owners can bring their dogs on hiking trips, provided the pets meet certain requirements (Smoky Mountain Llama Treks does not allow pit bulls or Rottweilers, though). A gourmet meal is included with all but the shortest Smoky Mountain Llama Treks hiking trips.

 

Smoky Mountain Llama Treks also offers wedding services as well as educational programs for school groups, church groups and other groups.
