But RainForest Adventures Discovery Zoo is one of many family attractions you can enjoy during your stay at a Sunset Cottage vacation rental. Located next to the Tanger Outlet Center in Sevierville, RainForest Adventures is an easy drive from the many condos, cabins and cottages that Sunset Cottage Rentals offers throughout the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area of East Tennessee.
If you like to watch the Animal Planet, the Discovery Channel or nature shows in general, you’re sure to appreciate a visit to RainForest Adventures Discovery Zoo. RainForest Adventures showcases an indoor rainforest filled with hundreds of creatures representing more than 130 species. Animals making their home at RainForest Adventures include such mammals as kinkajous and several varieties of lemurs as well as a host of birds, bugs and reptiles, including over 100 species of snakes. The newest addition to RainForest Adventures is the Aussie Walkabout, which features a walk-through aviary with hundreds of birds.
If you’re traveling with a group, RainForest Adventures can be an especially welcome place to visit. RainForest Adventures can accommodate church groups and home-schooled student groups as well as family reunions. For young nature-lovers, RainForest Adventures is a great place for a birthday party. The birthday boy or girl gets to be the zookeeper’s assistant and actually help staff members conduct a live show.
