If you are traveling on I-40 from Asheville, NC WEST to Pigeon Forge, TN, I-40 is CLOSED at the North Carolina/Tennessee state line. There has been a rock slide that will take possibly 3 months or more to clear.

ALTERNATE ROUTE: From Asheville to I-26 North to I-81 South, which intersects I-40 just 15 miles from EXIT 407 for Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. This will add 3-5 hours to your travel time, please plan accordingly. If you think you may have a late arrival, no problem! Just call us at the office to set up a late check-in for you.
